How this tool works

Words use the browser’s Intl.Segmenter for the selected language. Code points and grapheme clusters are separate counts: one emoji may contain several code points. Lines include a trailing empty line, and paragraphs are separated by blank lines. Counts may differ from your publisher’s rules.
