Downloading the actual video cover
What the cover represents
The cover comes from the video poster URL in the source post. It is not an AI-generated thumbnail or a frame created by this service. LinkedIn may show a cropped version in a feed, while the downloadable poster uses its own source dimensions.
Review the image
The result displays the real poster when the source provides an accessible supported image. Video cards reuse that image as their preview, and the separate cover card downloads the still file. An unavailable cover does not justify presenting a fake image.
Keep its original format
The service accepts JPEG, PNG or WebP covers based on the source response. It does not promise a PNG or a higher resolution than the source file. Check the format and byte size shown on the cover card.
Check reuse rights
Downloading a cover does not grant permission to publish it in another post, advertisement or website. Use your own cover or obtain permission from the rights holder. Keep the original post link with the file if you need attribution or context.
